New: Qlik Sense 3.2 Published on 24.03.2017 News BI-Blog With version 3.2, Qlik Sense provides new self-service visualization capabilities, broader deployment options, and a stronger connection between Qlik Sense and QlikView Improved User Experience The user experience has been improved in several places. Enhanced capabilities for visualizing, analyzing, and deploying Qlik Sense applications are just some new features that the release brings. QlikView Converter QlikView Converter allows you to transfer work from existing QlikView documents (with direct import of visualizations, expressions, dimensions, and variables) into Qlik Sense. The converter supports both Qlik Sense Enterprise and Qlik Sense Desktop. Coloration as a function of the measured value For the visualization of data in charts, now colors can be defined depending on the measured value. This function "Color by expression" allows you to recognize positive and negative measures at first glance. A simple selection of a full color palette for visualizations, key figures and KPI objects allows you to simplify and speed up data analysis and interpretation. New architecture for multi-node sites You can now deploy a multi-node site with shared persistence. This means that Nodes share a single repository database and a single network folder for the application files. You can either share the central node repository or set up a highly available database cluster as a repository database. This allows a higher number of changes, e.g. reloading and removes delays caused by synchronization. Automatic generation of calendar key figures You can now create calendar metrics to analyze data about relative time ranges. For example, you can use calendar metrics to compare the annual figures with numbers from the previous year. New authentication capability for Qlik Sense Desktop users Qlik Sense Desktop users can now authenticate against their Qlik Sense Enterprise Server. The Qlik Sense Enterprise Administrator configures an authentication link in the Qlik Management Console and distributes it to users. Download Qlik Sense Desktop Qlik GeoAnalytics Please upgrade to the latest Qlik GeoAnalytics (IdevioMaps) 5.7.5 when you upgrade to Qlik Sense 3.2. There were some compatibility issues in earlier versions of Qlik GeoAnalytics (IdevioMaps).
