COURSE DESCRIPTION

The Microsoft Power BI training is a scenario-based, modular course that provides a structured introduction to Power BI over three days, covering everything from the basics to advanced features. A key advantage for companies: the training can be tailored to participants’ existing knowledge. Power users can attend individual days without repeating content they already know. Trainers coordinate with the client in advance to ensure the course is customized and highly effective. Participants learn best practices for data modeling, calculations, and visualization, connect data from multiple sources, transform it using Power Query, and create DAX calculations — including filter manipulation and time-intelligence functions. Additionally, they learn how to manage, share, and efficiently deploy reports and dashboards. Practical examples, design concepts, and a look at upcoming Power BI features round off the training.

TARGET AUDICENCE

This course is aimed at companies and teams who want to systematically build their Power BI skills, regardless of previous experience. It is ideal for teams with varying skill levels and organizations that want participants to learn at their own pace. Companies with at least three Power BI users can benefit from compact, hands-on group training for up to ten participants, offering optimal cost-efficiency. No prior experience with Power BI is required, but participants should have basic Excel and data analysis skills. Familiarity with relational and non-relational data is helpful but not required, as is knowledge of cloud technologies and web applications.
