Use Case: Healthcare - patient return prediction

Example: A patient has a DRG with an upper limit length of stay (LOS). This patient is discharged regularly within this LOS, but returns to the hospital after X days. Returning patients cause many costs to the hospitals. If a possible recurrence case can be identified before the patient leaves, a dedicated preventive treatment could be performed. This would be significantly beneficial for both hospitals and patients.
