Azure Data Factory is a cloud service for serverless data integration and data transformation. It offers various components, such as Power Query, SSIS package execution, data flows and flowlets, which can be used to prepare data in different ways in a low/no-code approach.

On-premise data warehouse solutions were implemented using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Microsoft offers the switch to a completely cloud-based data warehouse with Azure or a hybrid data warehouse solution is conceivable.

Based on a use case, we will show you the advantages, the flexibility and the possible costs. We will also show you that existing on-premise MS SSIS components can also be integrated into the Azure solution in order to centrally manage the data warehouse solution.
