Our annual flagship event #iQDBD2020 has again established itself as a trendsetter for data enthusiasts. Valuable insights into powerful BI technologies, best-practice examples from renowned customers, a cool atmosphere and exciting discussions among data fans ensured an inspiring day.

The Qlik Discovery & Booster Day 2020 focused on Data Analytics & Data Visualization, ETL, Data Warehouse (DWH), Automated Machine Learning (autoML) and many other data intelligence topics.

Qlik as the core technology of our event was showcased in various presentations and workshops; our technology, development and cooperation partners presented valuable solutions and add-ons in a broad BI ecosystem around Qlik.

In addition to topic-specific lectures, various hands-on workshops were also offered. A very relaxed atmosphere as well as one-to-one exchange conversations rounded off the day. This event was addressed to data intelligence newcomers and Qlik users, for which our Discovery Sessions were perfectly suited, as well as to Qlik Power users, who were able to delve deeper into the subject matter thanks to our Booster Sessions at expert level. )

Thanks to the iVIEW Booth, our developers were able to present the innovative Data Automation Framework for Qlik, demonstrate its useful features for BI executives and answer questions about the latest development.

Special highlights were the best practice presentations of our customers Migros Bank, Stäubli International and Ronal Group. This valuable insight was undoubtedly an added value for all those present.

Mr. Johannes Holzer showed how Migros Bank had made its way to the first BI application with Qlik and what challenges had to be mastered in the process.

At Stäubli International, Mr. Lukas Sterchi gave us his best on the subject of "Transparency and reliability for improved decision-making".

During our breakout session "Planning & Forecasting" Mr. Henrik Lies from Ronal Group gave us insights into his Jedox project. This session was supported by a live demo together with our partner Jedox.

Our passion for data led us to Qlik Discovery & Booster Day. As a BI innovator and reference partner for demanding SMB and enterprise customers, we will continue to promote this format and ensure that the exchange of information on trend topics in the field of data intelligence is maintained.
